The story behind our soccer community.

Retas Toronto was founded in January 2023 by Gonzalo and quickly became the fastest growing soccer league in Ontario. 
 

We started by organizing soccer games for Toronto’s large Spanish-speaking community, and very soon grew to include English-speaking Torontonians of all backgrounds.

 

More than a league, we are a community of thousands of people in Toronto who share a passion for soccer.

Our goal is to become the largest league in Canada and make soccer the #1 SPORT.

​

Retas in Spanish means “challenges”, and is a term commonly used in Mexico for friendly soccer games.
